Black Arch Holsters

I didn’t expect this holster to be this comfortable.

I feel like I need to write this review from two different angles. One for the product itself, and one for the aspect of this being a discounted "Blem" product.

As for the "blem" part, I have zero complaints. I didn't go over it with a microscope and fine tooth comb, but I did look it over fairly good. I literally don't notice any defect at all. If this is representative of "blems" from Black Arch, I would have no reservation about buying another blem to same a few bucks. It looks as good as my Dual Clip Protos I bought a few weeks prior.

As for the style, I personally prefer this Single Clip to my Dual Clip. I didn't think I would. I assuming it would feel less stable or have a little wiggle. It feels every bit as stable and is slightly more comfortable. Definitely easier to put on and position in the ideal location (I like to be about 3:30.) The Dual Clip is very nice, and I would be happy if that were my only holster. I just bought this single clip because it was reduced price, but I'm glad I did. Had I known, I wouldn't have bought the Dual Clip the first time around. Nothing against it, I just don't really need both and I give the slight edge to the single clip design.

The only area I can say where I would like to see a little improvement is in the leather used. (This is the same for both holsters, so not knocking the "blem" here.) The leather is ok, it's nice...but for the price tag Black Arch asks it doesn't have the premium feel I was expecting. I'm not a leather expert, but I think they used a top grain cow hide. For $100+, I was expecting a heavier, full grain leather. Not a huge deal, it is sufficient. I just hoped for a little more on that front.

All in all, I'm satisfied with my purchases, and I won't be looking to replace it with another company. Glad I decided to go with Black Arch.

This has been a great holster keeps my Ruger RXM tucked in nicely with the clips at 3 and 4 O’clock well being very comfortable to wear all day sitting or standing.

I went through quite a few different brands until I tried the protos-m. By far the most comfortable holster I’ve found. Need one for my 1911 x carry

This by far is the most comfortable high quality holster for my P365 with red dot I bought several name brand holsters they were all uncomfortable but not this one!

Have been using for almost two weeks. carry between 3:30 and 4:00. ussually 8-12hrs per day. sitting at desk, vehicle and daily activities. Very comfortable, distributes weight evenly with various Kore 1.5 belts. lower connection tabs do not dig into hip. retention is very good with no movement. Clips are solid and easy to put on and take off. I do prefer a behind the belt J clip and that will be a easy change in the future. I did try also tucking in a polo shirt, just checking how it worked. I was surprised how easy it was to pull shirt as it does not hang up on either the weapon of holster. The only concern I have is the sweat shield, after only 2 weeks it is rolling toward the weapon considerably. this is not as much of a concern with the double action but I would be very careful on a striker fire pistol. the sweat shield needs more substance. I am very happy with this holster for my situation and use. The expense is very reasonable.

This is very well made and conceals very well. The holster stays in place and close to the body. The only company I could find that made iwb for the shield x. Very comfortable at 1 o clock.

I just received my "B" mag carrier for my CZ P-01. Perfect fit with no adjustments needed. Very pleased with this product as I wear it IWB with my Protos Heritage and then flip the carrier and mag around to carry OWB with my Rev-Con.

I purchased my first black Arch holster when they were new to the market just to support a local Utah business. Since that holster I have purchased 4 more because the quality is that good. The customer service is great as well.
